American Idol Top 5 Then and Now

Well the "American Idol" season 10 Top 5 took to the stage last night to deliver songs of "Then" and "Now" and they nearly all of them KILLED it!

SEE: American Idol Top 5 preview

Highlights of the night included:

James "Tears For Fears" Durbin tearing up the stage in his first performance of "Closer To The Edge" then tearing up while delivering Harry Nilsson's great "Without You".

Scotty "I Don't Want To Go Home" McCreery raising his game big time for a rousing rendition of "Gone" -- we've never seen Scotty looking so cool.

Haley "I'm Starting To Get How This Works" Reinhart closing the show with a barn burning rendition of The Animals classic "House Of The Rising Sun".

CHECK OUT: American Idol Top 6 are boring

The lowlights?

James "Going Home" Lusk... everything he did. Wrong, wrong, wrong. In every possible way. Just wrong.

Lauren "Orange Girl" Alaina who brought us to a high school prom karaoke night while delivering a painful "Unchained Melody". And showing that she's NOT Carrie Underwood in her first number.

The "Judges". This trio of useless flesh bags are really getting on our nerves now. They simply don't add anything useful to the proceedings - just heaping lavish unwarranted praise on virtually everybody - but then suddenly out of nowhere slamming Haley... for doing an unreleased Lady Gaga song. Saying... but people don't know that song... and... the song kinda sucks... Okay, try telling that to Her Gaga-ness when its another #1 for her. Lame-Os.
