"American Idol" Voting Tweaks On The Way?

Super Cute and Mega-Talented "American Idol" Outcast Pia Toscano

Okay, so as we all gear up to watch the Top 7 perform songs of the 21st Century tonight on "American Idol", which we've heard rumors today may involve a mentoring and appearance by none other than Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen, we have the following updated news about possible voting tweaks:

Idol  producers said today that they're considering altering the voting system to correct a bias towards male contestants by the show's largely female audience. Of course any changes will almost certainly NOT take effect on this Season 10 which has already seen the early exit of four female finalists, including mega-talented Pia Toscano.

"We are aware very much that the voting could quite possibly be skewed toward the boys," executive producer Ken Warwick told reporters in a conference call, according to Reuters. "It is something we are going to have a long discussion about after we finish this season. We won't be in the process of changing anything at the moment. It is going to go the way it goes."

That said, Pia is already enjoying some success with a potential record deal and a major performance already booked on "Dancing With The Stars" next week possibly thanks to new beau and DWTS professional dancer, Mark Ballas.
