You like her. You really, really like her. As if there was any doubt at all by now, it turns out the world is totally in love with the resurgent Britney Spears. Her new album "Femme Fatale" sold more than 276,000 copies in it's debut week and so takes the number one spot on the Billboard 200. That makes it her sixth #1 album (only "Blackout" at #2 didn't top the charts) and ties her at third with the most career number 1’s for a female artist, joining Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. They follow Barbra Streisand at one (with nine number 1’s) and Madonna at two (with seven).

And the pop goddess has just landed in first place in the Top 10 Most Loved Pop Artists amongst social media users according to Amplicate, an online opinion collating resource that accounts for more than 80 million public opinions of social media users. They report that over 26 thousand positive Britney opinions http://amplicate.com/love/britney-spears were expressed on Twitter, Facebook and Amplicate within the last 3 months.

Comments on Britney include praise for the new album, news of her upcoming tours and numerous proclamations of love such as, "... She inspires, she creates, she dances, and is the best performer around. Her music keeps me going."

While some of the comments were negative, like those stating blatantly, "She can't sing," the star has a love rating of 96 percent. Also among the Most Loved were Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Rihanna, all scoring a love percentage of above 90 percent.
